Konačno je počela sezona kuvanog i pečenog kukuruza, a malo ko može da mu odoli, bilo kod kuće, bilo na plaži ili u šetnji gradskim ulicama.

Pored toga što je sjajna, ukusna grickalica, kukuruz je i veoma zdrav, a odličan je izbor čak i za one na dijeti – jedan klip ima svega 80 do 100 kalorija.

Verujemo da u ovim danima često pripremate kukuruz, a uglavnom ga ljudi kuvaju samo u posoljenoj vodi, no pravi gurmani tvrde da je potrebno dodati mu i dva sastojka koja sigurno imate u frižideru, kako biste dobili najbolji rezultat.

Milk Corn was a new one for me…but cooking corn in milk and butter makes is super juicy and rich! 🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽 Recipe below! 6-8 ears of corn, husks and silks removed and cut in half (if desired) 1 cup milk 1 stick butter (unsalted, because cooking your corn in salted water makes it tougher) Fill a large pot about halfway with water. Bring water to a boil. Add milk and butter. Add corn and reduce heat. Simmer corn for 6 to 8 minutes.
